In August 2011, the Austrian
Oberndorfer Druckerei took over J.Fink Druck.
First integration phase has been implemented.
Now, actions are being taken to strengthen the company’s position
in the German market.
Successful startup for new J.Fink Druck GmbH
Austria’s second biggest web offset printing facility, Oberndorfer Druckerei GmbH in Salzburg, has successfully started the integration of the Ostfildern/Stuttgart based J.Fink Druck GmbH’s business. Thanks to the motivation and hard work of everyone involved, J.Fink is now fully integrated into the Group’s structure.
Land acquired
A plot located just side by side to the existing plant has been recently acquired from the city of Ostfildern. This provides nearly 6.000 m² growth potential. Thus, the existing business space can be doubled and there is room for two additional high capacity web offset presses and the necessary peripheral equipment.
Strengthened Sales Team to support the growth strategy
In parallel to the acquisition of this land, and in preparation for the future expansion, the company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Alexander Greutter as Sales Director in the company. Mr. Greutter, an Industrial Engineer with a solid International Sales and Marketing academic background and long experience in the industry, will lead the existing sales team in J.Fink and will further expand it in the next months to increase the company’s sales activities in Germany and the international markets.
A Doyen of Austria
The Oberndorfer Druckerei GmbH, founded in 1913, has currently more than 250 employees in Oberndorf and 81 employees at Fink. The companies will reach an annual turnover in excess of 110 Million Euros. Hence, it makes up the second biggest Austrian company in this industry and one of the most capable web offset printing facilities in Central Europe. The modern machinery consists of seven innovative printing presses (one 16-page, two 48-page, two 64/72-page and two 80-page). Moreover, the two printing facilities offer full-services over all production areas out of one hand – from pre-press to all-embracing binding and finishing solutions.
CirclePrinters growth strategy to keep focus in Germany
Despite the difficult times both in the industry and the European economy as a whole, CirclePrinters strategy continues revolving around the need to consolidate the Graphic Industry in Europe and in its largest market: Germany, which remains a top priority for the Group in 2012.
